This circa 1890 Fine Antique Adler Kazak (Eagle or Chelaberd) Rug, features a vertical row of bold Sunburst medallions with stepped geometric arms in ivory against a rich Madder Red field. The open ground is filled with small tribal motifs, stars, rosettes, and abstract botanicals. Multiple geometric borders with saw-tooth and starburst patterns frame the design. Woven with traditional vegetable dyes, the rug showcases vibrant color contrasts and classic 19th-century South Caucasian craftsmanship. The item you're interested in is in good condition.
