The ivory field of this impeccable neatly woven NW Persian urbane carpet presents a very small scale textile pattern underlying a many lobed nested lozenge medallion and matching triangular corners. Scrolling escutcheon cartouche pendants. Buff main border with reversing turtles in two colourways. Absolutely symmetric, nothing left to chance or whim. Good condition with a cotton foundation.
