The abrashed royal blue ground of this unusual roomsize Hamadan shows an allover Harshang-related field with idiosyncratic palmettes, rosettes and broken vinery, with accent tones in rust, red, light blue, pale green and ecru. Strip style red border with ecru accented forked arabesques and two types of reversing palmettes. Solid medium weave on cotton foundation. Good condition.
