The sand field shows a section of an infinite repeat, here with three open medallions with eight lobe petal centres, and a secondary array of hooked and lobed similar devices. Main border of reflected curly hooked pairs. Cotton warp and weft. Moderately woven. As new condition. Decoratively restrained palette.
