This spacious and boldly drawn scatter with a Heriz-style semi-geometric, vertically asymmetric layout features a creamy sand field with a variety of paired forked arabesques, an open outline cartouche at upper centre, and fractional petal palmettes and cartouches along the sides. Straw, near black and rose red details. Maroon border with reversing petal and serrated palmettes along a broken meander. Medium weave, cotton foundation. As new condition. An attractive rug that may age well.
