Presently, for some reason, out of fashon and incredibly reasonably priced Kermans are one of the best bargains in roomsized carpets. The deep royal blue open subfield of this “bookcover" layout piece shows the complex strapwork outine medallion with its elliptical rust-red sub-medallion. Conforming red field forms conjoiint corners. Nar black border with pointed arcade pattern. Formal, but not formal like a Kashan or Tabriz or Isfahan. Thick pile. Fine weave. Good condition.
