Spiral arabesques (islimi) with dramatic doubly barbed sickle leaf finials, are anchored by palmettes and leaves. A second arabesquerie crosses over and subtly supplements. Details in green, ivory and dark red. Ecru border with reversing petal palmettes and two styles of forked and barbed acanthus leaves. Well-woven, cotton foundation. As new condition.
