This long neutral Sumak runner rug is a beautiful sage color and has beige and crimson detailing. With different botanical motifs throughout the rug. A Sumak is hand-woven, flat-weave rug created using a distinct weft-wrapping technique rather than traditional knotted piling. Artisans wrap colored weft threads over and under the vertical warp threads in a specific motion (often 4 steps forward and 2 back), creating a cable-like or chain-stitched texture on the face.
