“Northwest Persian” is a slippery rug attribution. Anyy long, camel-tone rug can qualify. This attractive kellegi (long rug) shows a milky camel-tone field with a loose and tightening attempted lozenge lattice allover pattern whose cells enclose upright round and triangular flowers. Medium blue border with wonky rosettes. Cotton foundatuion, but not Hamadan. So where was it made? Medium weave. Good condition.
