An exceptionally large flatwoven carpet in a borderless, banded Caucasian style, with wool pattern wefts in red, light blue, salmon and ivory. The pattern is geometric with the widest band showing fringed crosses and the narrower stripes featuring nested ashiks. Can be adjusted in any direction. An attractive village piece with a moderate slit weave.
