The gently abrashed sky blue field of this modern Caucasian-style carpet is centred by a lobe-stepped red medallion and four matching royal blue motives along the side and ends. Hooked lozenges, volute ended leaves and small petal palmettes are among the field elements. Straw-ecru main border with an alternation of petal palmettes and equal arm crosses. Plain sky blue outer surround. As new condition. Medium weave.
