This modern ivory ground piece is in as new conditions with a small central oval, roe bouquet sub-medallion embedded in a near black pointed medallion, set on a palmette, rose and vinery four section ground. Partially pendanted extended corners with forked arabesques. Near black main border with palmettes breaks into the minors. Probably from Lahore. Fine weave on cotton. Formal carpet ith a dense draughting style.
