A lion attacks a gazelle while a deer rests, both beneath two intertwining trees with composite blossoms. A flock of various birds perches and flies about, all on the straw-sabd field.  Putty border with  birds, palmettes and arabesques. Very finely woven. From the central Persian Shrine city. The intertwining and swaying slender trees are an obvious sexual metaphor. Wallhanging.
