Peshawar. In the formal Persian style, this Pakistani urban carpet shows a near black field with comfortably spaced, comfortably sized lazy and slanted ragged and petal palmettes, connected by rosettes and vinery, and attended by discreet stems and leaves. Palmettes and fungus leaves decorate the border.
