This rug is a striking piece that embodies a Mid-Century modern aesthetic with an Abstract Expressionist flair. Its design evokes the energy of artist-created textiles, similar to the dynamic works of Zeki MŸren. The rug's field features an array of free-flowing shapes and patterns, including scribble-like lines, crescent curves, crosshatched grids, starburst forms, and playful confetti-style squiggles that appear to dance across the surface. Subtle abrashÑnatural tonal variations produced by hand-spun wool and traditional dyeing methodsÑenhances its painterly texture and visual depth. The primary background is composed of warm gold, earthy brown, and olive green tones, creating a rich, organic foundation. These are beautifully punctuated by accent motifs in cream/ivory, soft rose pink, muted red, and dark charcoal grey/black, lending the rug a vibrant yet sophisticated presence. Perfect for those seeking a unique blend of timeless craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression. The item you're interested in is in good condition.
