This well-drawn rug shows the influence of William Morris in its two echelon pattern of three open barbed leaf, rose swag and posy spray pattern, on the salmon red ground. Tonally en suite border with leafy vines and petal fans. Red outermost frame. Detailed overall in ecru, straw, ecru and buff-salmon. Medium weave. As new condition.
