This Indian flatweave room size displays sand field with a palmette, barbed leaf and wiry vine pattern organized by addorsed tulips in the centre. Chunky, informal drawing. Old gold border with quatrefoil rosettes. Wefts wrapped around warps (sumac technique) throughout. As new condition.
