Vintage Persian Bidjar. Not a Bidjar, but a well- made village piece with a red field, Qashghai knots in the corners, a cream sub-field filled with small, floating floral and geometric elements and centred on another knot motif. Ecru border with rosettes. Probably Abadeh work.
