A visually extremely dynamic west Persian town scatter with a red field supporting a densely nested and flame-edged oval medallion accented in powder blue and centred on a red, pendanted octogramme, and en suite corners detailed in teal blue. Pendants and half-pendants with serpentine turn-backs enhance the major elements. Blue border with reversing palmettes that may or may not resemble turtles. Solid, compact weave. Good condition.
