As befits a rug woven by Qashghai women, this superbly abrashed nomadic scatter shows three rows of colourfully attired ladies, one row with outstretched and joined arms. The medium blue ground ranges from teal to dark indigo. Plain red triangular corners. Narrow cream border with reciprocal stepped triangles. Inner triangle stripe. Moderate/medium weave. Genuine, high quality folk art. Good condition.
