Three columns of characteristic Karaja octogramme and hexagon medallions in green and ecru respectively decorate the red field, while a scatter of smaller, semi-geometric elements closely fills in. Navy border with bud squares, rosettes and long leaves. Cotton foundation, moderate weave, From Karaja village in the NW Persian Heriz weaving district. Good condition with slightest end reduction.
