This classic NW Persian rustic carpet features a ragged palmette pendanted navy octogramme medallion, outlined in pale blue, with eight radiating geometric palmettes and enclosing an ivory sub-octogramme. Lighter red and pale blue corner squares. Overall fill of small buds, leaves and flowers in green, teal, navy, mustard yellow and navy-black. Navy-black strip border with turtles and rosettes, accented in light blue, ecru and red. Medium-coarse weave on cotton. Good condition.
