The incredibly wide flatwoven ends are striped in shades of straw, rust, brown pale blue and green, with some bands of supplementary weft simple patterning. The coral red field of this well-woven, short pile tribal rug show a near black, pendanted 12-lobe rosette medallion. Semi-en-suite corners. Off-white border of open cartouches alternating with palmette pendanted open diamonds. These scatters are a recent innovation in Fars weaving.
