This well-woven roomsize from a famous carpt-weaving centre, shows a blood red field closely hosting a variety of medium-scale palmettes, moving around the navy medallion with a small pattern and a cream sub-medallion. Navy and cream corners en suite. Dark blue border with forked arabesques and polychrome petal palmettes. On cotton, short pile. Good condition. Restrained and opulent.
