The crisp red field, with a wide variety of Persian garden flowers, flows around the small lightly scalloped navy medallion with reduced pendants, and is invaded by vases and floral bouquets from the navy border on all sides and corners, a feature developed in Persian rugs beginning in the 1930’s. This central Persian urban scatter is in good condition.
