Vintage Persian Kashan. This central Persian urban creation features a rounded lobed compound medallion with internally radiating palmettes and double palmette and escutcheon pendants, on a brisk, saturated red field. Navy triangular palmette and arabesque corners. Nany oval palmette and forked arabesque main border with oblique corner turn palmettes. An attractive interwar carpet.
