This classic village Kazak, antique not vintage,shows a small tripartite field with red and ivory star-filled boxes within an ecru border. Characteristic hooked ivory zig-zag broad main border. Green a\, red and straw layered filler triangles. Bitonal red/green outer reciprocal minor. Long pile, moderately coarse weave on wool. Natural dyes, bold composition. Good condition. Not a Fachralo anything.
