Destined for America, this vintage creation shows the influence of “American Sarouk" styling in the floral sprays decorating the navy sub-field around the nested octogramme medallion. Red border escutcheon sartouches and cream intermediates break into the inner minor stripe. Extended, surging ecru conjoint corners form a genuine field. Lacy, delicate pattern everywhere. Total horror vacui. Cotton foundation, well woven, urban SE Persian carpet.
