A lighter-toned version of a popular SW Persian tribal type, with matching octagons in the centre and corners, on a powder field. The stepped octagonal medallion is set between lateral chevronned columns. Birds are scattered in among the primarily floral field decoration. Sandy beige border with meander and palmetttes. Wool foundation, moderate/medium weave. Good condition. Reduced overall palette.
