The ecru field shows a spacious version of the classic Mina Khani rosette lattice Mina Khani design, here executed primarily in abrashed dark and medium blue. Hairline tendril sections, stars and rosettes fill in the reserves. At the field ends, the lattice develops dark blue attenuated S-shapes. Saturated madder red strip style border with reversing turtles. Many clever pattern innovations repay close examination. Moderate weave, cotton foundation. Uncommon, squarish format. Good condition.
