A complete large scatter rather than a giant sampler (wagireh), with the characteristic “Garrus†design of red forked arabesques on a navy ground, with ragged palmettes, blossoming flowers and rosette fillers. Narrow ecru border with escutcheons and forked arabesques. Red secondary border with rosettes. Dense and compact weave on wool foundation. Kurdish town work with an unusual offset pattern. Natural dyes. Good condition.
