Not Persian, but Armenian work from SW Caucasus, and a Chelaberd Karabagh rather than a true Kazak. Nevertheless iconic. Madder red field with two and a half cream “eagles†with green or blue cruciform centres and radiating buds in the oblique lappets.. Tiny human figure along with a hooked lozenge and stars. Cream star main border with long Armenian inscription. Wool foundation, moderate/coarse weave, thick pile. Good condition.
