Antique Caucasian Fakhralou Kazak. The blue pointed and footed payer sub-field floats on a red field with rows of skeletal palmettes alongside. A central layered cartouche in red and ecru adds to the iconic style. The ivory main border shows calyxes and pyramids of serrated leaves. This is a good example of one of the most popular of Kazak types.
