Antique Persian Farahan Sarouk. The abrashed rust field varies from light to moderately warm while showing a 3/2/3… pattern of ecru and dark blue floating pointed cartouche medallions with octofoil centres. Fractional medallions appear in the rows of only two cartouches. This is a large village carpet woven to urban standards. The navy strip style border presents a meandering vine forming reserves with pointed or rounded apices.
