Four huntsmen/warriors meet two aristocratic ladies in a deep blue and green forest setting, with a low stone structure on an otherwise weedy brown surface. The figures are tall and slightly over life size. Generally light coloured garments and armour with leafy hats or helmets on three of the male figures. An unidentified mythological event. Dark brick-brown border with flowers and fruits including grape bunches and cut open quinces. Wool pattern wefts. Good condition with slight mellowing of the natural dyes.
