South Caucasian, moderate weave Gendje village rugs are characterized, as here, by diagonally striped patterns and well-dyed yellows. The bands here are of all the same width and are uniformly adorned with floating block S’s. Cream strip style border with nested octagons and stylised triangular flower fillers. Good condition with a wide, clear natural dye palette.
