The coral field of this finely woven central Persian city scatter shows a 4 x 5 pattern of arched reserves, each displaying one of several distinct floral elements. Looks somewhat Mughal Indian. Near black border of pointed ellipses and rosettes.Recent. As new condition. Many of the best modern Persian silks emanate from Qum workshops, many in scatter formats.
