The scarlet field of this west Persian, well-woven, village scatter, show a variant on the :
“American Sarouk” pattern, here with two ecru rosette wreaths around a central rosette, with secondary disjoint floral sprays. Navy border with various palmettes and vinery. Details overall in shades of blue, straw and eggshell. Good condition.
