this finely woven city NW Persian piece shows a large prayer niche layout wuth an ivory field basally centred by a vase on stand, developing a “tree of life” in full bloom. Half cypresses laterally and smaller full cypresses near the field bottom. Rust spandrels with rosettes and near black forked arabesques. Cream border with animal combats and trotting deer. Crisp pile, good condition.
