The madder red field of this NW Persian village carpet shows an allover design incorporating barbed leaves, complex profile flowers, petal stars and ragged palmettes, all detailed in green, coral, sand, mustard and navy. Navy strip-style border with flowing reversing turtles and rosettes. Natural dyes. Good condition.
