The abrashed madder red field displays four rows, each of five “dumbbell†elements in creamy beige, goldenrod and navy, with connecting barbed foliage, and a rosette filler. Navy border with tilted corner vases and faceted angular vinery. Charmingly naïve border drawing. Finely woven on cotton. Pile of merino wool spun in Manchester, UK. Velvety surface texture, short clipped pile. Good condition.
