Antique Caucasian Kazak. A flattened ecru octagonal medallion with mosaic corner triangles nearly reaches across the abrashed blue field. Above and below are pairs of nested ashiks. The red strip style main border shows a calyx and slant leaf design, in which the calices on the ends resemble human figures in a bit of whimsy.
