Extremely Fine Persian Tabriz. Pile islands on the cotton flatwoven ends mark this as a modern product of a highly professional workshop. It is further underlined by the fine weave resulting in a bone field traditionally patterned with leaves and palmettes swirling around the layered leaf medallion. The beige main border breaks subtly into the inner minor stripe. Signed/inscribed.
