A definitely unusual late Victorian SE Persian urban scatter displaying a ten light chandelier above a luxuriantly flowering vase, and fluted colonettes to the sides, all on a cream field. Charming lion protomes emerge from the foliage. Ecru main border with meander and petal palmettes and petal rosettes. Slightly mellow tonality, but extensive palette typical of antique Kermans. Fine weave on cotton. Good condition.
