The ivory, eight lobe medallion is almost hidden within the dizzyingly complex field with a dense millefleur design with the addition of spiral rinceaux, ,palmettes and rosettes, in shades of red and blue. Cream border with reversing cypresses and weeping willows. Fine SE Persian workshop weave on cotton. Almost no two larger antique Kerman are identical, so prolific are the famous designers. “Laver†refers to any high quality antique Kerman carpet. Good condition.
