Looks like a contemporaneous Farahan Sarouk, but better with a finer weave of mill-spun Manchester wool. The ivory field is filled with floral stems and is pinned to the lobed, oval, pendanted near black medallion with further curvy stems. Wide red conjoint corners. near black main border with oblique corner palmettes and enchanting perching birds among the flowers. Cotton foundation, fine weave. Velvet surface. Good condition.
