Most probably not of the “Mohtasham†period, but an Interwar piece in the characteristic Kashan nested navy medallion and navy corners pattern, in red, dark blue and ecru, densely patterned with palmettes and vines. Navy border with closely set petal palmettes. Well-woven on cotton, short pile. Good condition.
