The navy field of this finely knotted ciy carpet shows four columns of cream catouches alternating with coral red hexagonal element, in an allover textile pattern repeat. Navy border with a steppe and arched formal meander enclosing uniformly small diamonds. Unique pattern, well executed and well-balanced. Clearly from a prepared cartoon.Short and velvety pile. Good condition for the period.
