Not Qashghai, but from the nearby Khamseh Confederation in SW Persia. Characteristic ivory small .lattice corners and side intrusions, set off the navy Herati pattern subfield. Hexagonal stepped central ivory medallion with Herati design. Central narrow border shows an ivory ground on three sides and an X pattern below. All wool construction. Moderate/medium weave. Good condition for this urban-influenced nomadic piece.
