Attractive, authentic SW Persian nomadic piece with a navy field closely filled with hooked and plain diamonds, cartouches and herringbone flowers, centred around three large red hooked diamonds enclosing octagons, herringbone and nested Vee flowers. Ivory Shikarlu border of stellate medallions in the strip style. Crisp, natural ;palette. Wool foundation, excellent tribal wool pile. Medium weave. Good condition.
